About NextMove

NextMove organizes competitive and beginner-friendly chess tournaments across Penang, bringing together players, parents, and Penang's growing chess community for a full day of over-the-board competition.

Every NextMove tournament is run under the Swiss System with a fair, structured format — from Under 8 categories through Under 18 and open events — so players of every level have a place to compete, learn, and improve.
